About me
My name is Nicky Stevens. I am an information management professional based in Florida, USA with 14 years of experience in libraries and archives and growing experience and knowledge in front-end web development. With a Bachelor's degree in film, a minor in history, a Master of Library and Information Science degree, and a certificate from the SheCodes coding boot camp, making information available in creative, organized, and user-friendly ways is a passion of mine.
Throughout my years of managing information and assets in the library and archives fields, I have honed my skills in information management, databases, reference services, research, education, and customer service making sure users, whether public citizens, corporate customers, academic researchers, or professional colleagues, have the information they need. In addition, I have knowledge of markup languages HTML and CSS, the JavaScript programming language, and the front-end web development workflow.
